God is watching now, what you are going through
How you behave in tribulation
At this moment the Lord God is testing you
Trial by fire can only be overcome with prayer
If in the dead of night you rise
Words are lacking to guide your prayer
Your groaning the Holy Spirit understands
And can clearly translate to God

Face this battle, brother
Endure this pain, this anguish
Trust in the Lord alone
This pain will pass
Difficult, but it's true
Confront the problem head-on
One thing God cannot bear
Is a believer's tears

And in silent moments, sometimes you murmur
That's not the way to walk
If He is still the Lord of your life
He is the Potter and the clay He can mold
A clay vessel must go through the fire
