Mirrors
In my grandfather's house
there was a landing with a mirror,
in front of another mirror, in front of another mirror,
in front of another mirror, another mirror, another mirror...
I peeked with anticipation,
my whole arm, and I moved it,
over another arm, another arm, another arm...
I climbed onto the armchair that was
under a mirror and from there I jumped,
to the chair in front, waiting for me,
and to the next one, to the next one, to the next one... aha ha
And the path twisted slowly,
the mirrors showed it to the people;
I jumped the hallways,
and although everything lost its shine,
the game awaited me in the end... aha ha
In all those hallways
I was crossing dangers
that waited, that silently lurked me.
One with snakes,
with soldiers the next one,
and beyond, one with a river of lava.
There was a hallway, that had a rake,
that if I didn't jump right, it dragged me.
There was one with hairs, another where the floor was the sky,
and luckily there, the armchairs floated... aha ha
And the path twisted slowly...
In my grandfather's house
there was a landing with a mirror,
in front of another mirror, in front of another mirror,
in front of another mirror, another mirror, another mirror...
