Ciudad Animal
Ciro Y Los Persas
Animal City
It appears,
All its strength rises.
It seems,
Today is going to be a normal day, just like yesterday.
Elephant with a thousand feet, crosses the street fast,
Paper birds fly.
Wake up, the jungle
The world goes out to seek bread and mango.
And an old man who will no longer see this sun,
And a young man who didn't sleep,
A girl, a girl is no more,
A baby cries for the first time!
The jungle starts its engine
Horns and drums sound,
They fill the avenues and the heat.
Zebras and panthers parade,
And the rhinoceros in double file,
The gorillas always with a monkey skin armchair...
Give me in this jungle a place where I can
Climb to the top of the tallest tree,
To see a sky far from hollow promises,
Envy, greed, and false love.
And an old toucan will no longer see this sun,
Son of a tiger didn't sleep,
Meerkat will never be the same,
A parrot screams for the first time!
The giraffe shows its elegance
And a hyena seeks revenge, pa, pa, pa, pa, pa,
And no, and it doesn't turn out to be.
The marmoset sells lottery tickets,
And the lion cleans sequins,
From the night, because now, because now it's a judge!
Give me in this jungle a place where I can
Climb to the top of the tallest tree,
To see a sky far from hollow promises,
Envy, greed, and false love.
Give me in this jungle a place where I can,
Look into the eyes without thinking afterwards,
And see the moon free from darkness,
Darkness of the soul that doesn't let you see.
