Dawn on the Sea
The vast expanse of the sea
sparkles with a thousand hues,
it's the dawn that comes to bring
its greeting to life and love.
And while the sky's dome
is draped in a pure white veil,
the gentle wave softly whispers
the most beautiful song of the sea.
The dawn on the sea
joyfully returns and blushes,
and the sailor
sings with a nostalgic voice.
Between sky and sea
my thoughts fly to an angel
and over the passing waves
I still dream of the poetry of the sea.
