1.
With affection, I designed this planet;
With care, I planted my garden here.
With joy, I dreamed of a paradise,
For life, a gift of love that never ends.

I place before you then
Two different paths:
Life and death, and you shall choose.
Be wise: choose life!
Share bread, heal wounds!
Be fraternal and you shall live.

2.
I made man and woman in my image;
For love and to love I created them.
With my people, I celebrated a Covenant.
The path of justice I taught.

3.
With sadness I see life despised,
In my children and in all nature.
It saddens me so many lives aborted,
Painful to me is violence and poverty.

4.
On the margins of this life there are so many people
Begging for justice and dignity.
Respecting, caring for life is what I ask of you;
Go! Transform your faith into charity!
