In this Lenten time, O God of life
Your Church proposes to overcome
The violence that is in the hands of the world
And comes from the depths of those who do not know how to love

Fraternity is overcoming violence!
It is pouring out, instead of blood, more forgiveness!
It is fermenting fraternal love in humanity!
For Jesus said that we are all brothers
For Jesus said that we are all brothers

Whoever plants peace and goodness along the way
And nurtures them with care and protection
Will no longer see violence in their land
Bringing peace is the commitment of the Christian

Exclusion, which leads so many people to death
Corrupts lives and destroys creation
Enough of war and violence, O merciful God
It is the cry of your children in prayer

Come to us, Lord, your Kingdom of justice
Full of peace, harmony, and unity
We dream of seeing a new heaven and a new earth
Everyone in the circle of happy fraternity

Your Church has an open heart
And teaches us to love each brother
In Jesus Christ, it welcomes, loves, and forgives
Who did wrong, repented, and seeks forgiveness
