From the Tomb Arose Triumphant
From the tomb behold triumphant
Arose the Son of the eternal God
To give us His constant faith
And in the end take us to the heavens
It was Jesus, the Master, buried
But death could no longer hold Him
He who had no sin within Himself
Came to die for the sinner
When the disciples arrived
With spices, to anoint the Lord
They no longer found Him in the tomb
For He had conquered death
They saw angels who informed them
That Christ was no longer among the dead
Filled with joy they returned
Beholding such wonders
He presented Himself to the apostles
And said to them: Let My peace be in you
Sadness turned into glory
By His true appearance
They remained in Jerusalem
Clothed with the power of God
They received virtues
I see the blessed gift from the heavens
