Luz Aos Meus Pés É a Tua Palavra

Light unto my feet is Your holy Word
Light for my path, oh Lord
It sustains my soul and saves me
From all evil in this seductive world

To be perfect, Your law teaches me
It is what I desire, oh Lord, my God
It enlightens my mind
And keeps me in Your ways

I will meditate on Your wise counsel
I will constantly think about it
For it is a heavenly mirror
In Your precepts I will rejoice

I keep Your teachings within me
Which, out of love, You send, oh Lord
And I will fulfill Your holy commandments
Through Jesus Christ, the righteous Redeemer
