O my soul, why are you cast down?
In God wait in your battles
If you struggle among evils
Trust in God, He is faithful

Why, my soul, are you troubled?
God consoles you, builds you up
Only He guards and sanctifies
Be firm in Him, who is faithful

Strength and grace only God grants
With faith supplicate, ask Him
Jesus, the righteous, intercedes for you
Be, my soul, faithful to God

God is the sustenance of my life
He will give comfort in all struggles
To His rest God invites you
