Conversão

Oh, how blind I walked, and lost I wandered, far, far from my Savior!
But from heaven He came down, and His blood He shed, to save such a poor sinner

I heard of this unmatched grace, that brought our Jesus from heaven
But I made myself deaf, didn't want to convert, to the Lord who died for me on the cross

But one day, I felt my sin and saw, the sword of the law over me
I hurriedly fled, hid in Jesus, and found safe shelter in Him

How blessed then is my heart, knowing the sublime love
That led my Jesus to suffer on the cross, to save such a poor sinner

It was on the cross, on the cross where one day I saw, my sin punished in Jesus
It was there by faith that my eyes opened, and now I rejoice in His light.
