Today a goat passed by
Dragging a little cart
That played music as it rolled
On its four wheels
A jingle of bells
Ringing as it rolled

That little goat saw me
I yelled, it got scared
And took off in the direction
Of the land of the song

I called it many times
But it never came back
Shaking a little bell
It disappeared into the mountains

Rolling through the fields
The little cart goes
Singing its song

To all the flowers
That dot the meadow
Like a colorful carpet
What a shame I can't
Go with it too
And while traveling learn
Its songs in a sway

The little goat got suspicious
'Cause I yelled and messed up
Fearful, it moved away
With its musical cart
