Dos Mayates

Two may beetles
A pair of very bright beetles
Go together on their way to the flowerbeds
That are at the back of the garden
Where the sun stays warm

Two may beetles
Chubby like chocolates
Stumbling and tripping they go tenaciously
Trying to finally reach
The little herbs warmed by the sun

One is lame
The other one too
That doesn't matter
They get along very well
Step by step
Taking their time to walk
When will they arrive

Two may beetles
If you see them, don't step on them, don't kill them
Poor insects incapable
Of causing you any harm
They are looking for the warm sun
