Los Enanos Toreros
Cri-Cri
The Dwarf Bullfighters
Sunday afternoon, the sun shines bright
The stands are packed to see the bullfighter
Green nose said, let’s see who’s the best
Him or red belly, who boasts of his courage
Let loose the dog with paper horns!
Here comes red belly, full of hesitation
His big belly’s already a different shade!
As soon as the bull charges, he goes wild
And silly red belly got tossed around
When green nose comes out, the dog charged
But being brave, he skillfully dodged
And all the dwarfs cheer like crazy
Long live green nose, we want to see him fight!
Sunday afternoon, the sun shines bright
Once again, it’s a showdown, the skinny guy and the fat one
Green nose claims there’s no one like him
Because that red belly has lost his fame
Let loose the dog with paper horns!
Chuchuca, another dwarf, came out to wave the flags
Shaking like a cat just bathed
And he placed the flags as he saw fit
On the bull’s tail and ran off in a hurry
And Mr. Pimpirulando, not wanting to fall behind
Climbed on some stilts and joined the rest
In the middle of the ring, the old bearded man
Stood like a statue, earning the applause
