Tango Medroso
Cri-Cri
Fearful Tango
The rooster's crow
It's the horse's time
The dog's bark
Distress of the thief
The old door
Hinges creaking
Trembling awakens
With the sound of the knocker
The lightning's light
Illuminates sideways
The hoarse thunder
Fires its cannon
And begins to tap
On the roof
The rhythm of the rain
Like a bold tango
There, hidden in the night
Flying silently everywhere
Always the wise owl
That knows and sees everything
It goes hunting
A thousand nightmares
That like vultures
Want to fall
Fall into simple houses
Disturbing the people who think well
But the owl attacks them
Makes a mess, disrupts
And throws them disdainfully
Perhaps it's the nights
Of dark shadows that terrify me
As if something very strange
Walks on tiptoes around me
I'm not brave
Nor do I pretend to be
I feel fear
Of I don't know what
That's why I shout: -- Owl
Here you have nightmares, come quickly!
Since the owl attacks them
Makes a mess, disrupts
And throws them disdainfully
