Toki ni wa Mukashi no Hanashi o
Crimson Pig
Sometimes Let's Talk About the Past
Sometimes let's talk about the past
That familiar place we used to go
The chestnut tree stood by the window
With a cup of coffee, we’d spend the day
Searching blindly for an unseen tomorrow
Everyone was filled with hope
Blown by the hot winds of that time
Feeling time all over our bodies, right?
Remember when we slept by the roadside?
Stuck together, nowhere to go
Even without money, we made it through
Poverty brought us tomorrow
A few of us crowded into that little diner
Staying up till morning, laughing and sleeping
Every day burned like a storm
We ran until we could barely breathe, right?
Look at this last photo we have
That scruffy guy is you, isn’t it?
I still don’t know where you are now
I have a few friends, but
Everything from that day feels empty
But that’s something no one can say
Even now, I’m still dreaming those unfulfilled dreams
And I keep running somewhere.
