Prisoner
In every place in this world
There is a prisoner who cries
In search of freedom
He begs to men
He wanted to be free again
And live with his family
But he finds himself in a prison
Suffering behind bars
Prisoner, Jesus will visit you
In the cell of your heart
He will break the prison that makes you cry
Prisoner, that's why Jesus died
So that you could have life
And be free like me
When it's visiting day
His beloved wife comes to visit him
Bringing their child by the hand
So the father can embrace him
They spend happy moments
It seems like a dream, not wanting to wake up
When a voice then shouts:
The visit is over, it's time to wake up
Prisoner, Jesus will visit you
In the cell of your heart
He will break the prison that makes you cry
Prisoner, that's why Jesus died
So that you could have life
And be free like me
When Jesus was nailed
On that cross, He remembered you
With two criminals by His side
One repentant cried out like this:
Remember me, Lord
When You enter Your kingdom
Jesus, looking with love, said:
Today you will be with me
Prisoner, Jesus will visit you
In the cell of your heart
He will break the prison that makes you cry
Prisoner, that's why Jesus died
So that you could have life
And be free like me
