A Torre para o Céu

The Tower to Heaven
"In no other is there salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
I will tell you
Get ready to listen
The story of Babel
These people decided
To build a tower
To reach the sky
The project was planned
Discussed and approved
Many people got involved
With total dedication
They started the construction
That's how it happened
But the Lord of heaven
Could not tolerate
That's not how man
Will reach heaven
But the people insisted
Working night and day
Trying to save themselves
As the construction grew
There were people saying:
"We're almost there!"
Until the Creator
Confused their language
Causing division
No one understood each other
The project was lost
In such confusion!
"Uga, buga, uga, buga"
"What did you say, my brother?"
"I Don't understand you, bro!"
"The confusion is very big!"
With languages divided
Everything finally shook
That's how the project
Collapsed, oh, oh, oh...
"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!"
Boom!
What a shame! How horrible!
The opposite happened
When the people united
Seeking only good
The Church obeyed
The miracle happened
It was in Jerusalem
People from everywhere
Needed to hear
About the great salvation
But there were many people
With different languages
And no communication
Tongues of fire
Then the Creator sent
And the whole people heard the gospel
Religious people irritated
Totally disturbed
Started to speak:
"These uneducated men
Are already drunk
What a shame it gives me!"
The gospel was preached
There was forgiveness of sins
And the people rejoiced
Today everyone knows
That the tower to heaven
Is Jesus, the Savior!
"Uga, buga, uga, buga"
"I understand my brother!"
"do you understand me?"
"Yes, of course, why not?"
With the language from heaven
Promoting communion
It's easy to proclaim salvation
"Up!"
"Don't forget, my brother!"
