Life Without God
A man's life without God is like a ship facing storms out at sea
It goes wherever the wind takes it, not knowing which way to steer
He feels uncertain, locking himself away, letting his thoughts take flight
He's all alone, with no one to help him.
Life without God is so empty, like a flower wilting away
Life without God is like a dry leaf carried by the wind, unable to stop
Life without God is an illusion, believing in lies, trying to fool himself
Life without God is hopeless, walking without knowing where he'll end up.
A man's life with God is like a bird that flies freely without a care
It heads toward a safe shelter that gives him strength to pray
As calm comes in, he leaves the shelter and flies off peacefully once more
That's how a man who lets God guard his life lives.
Life with God is a life full of joy, blessing, and peace
Wherever he goes, he's protected because this God is by his side
Life with God is different, through grace it moves people
Life with God is a new life, that's the life of a believing man.
