I'm the sand
That's lying on the beach
Envying other sands
That get close to the sea
You're the immense wave
That almost touches me when it comes
But you always go back
Backwards
The times you spill over the damp sand
Thinking I'll finally touch you
When you get so close to me
But then you retreat
And get lost in the vastness of the sea
I'm the sand the wave never touches
And lying on the beach
I live alone in my sorrow
You're the wave
That wraps yourself in mist
And dissolves into foam
Drifting further away from me
