Upeklo je sunce

The Sun is Burning
The sun is burning, a day made for the beach
On the beach, people are swimming, sunbathing, splashing, and rubbing
And when I took off my cap, your smile cut through me
I thought you were laughing at my greasy hair or my green cap
But nowadays, those caps are in style, and I didn't understand a thing, I'm going to the bar to have a drink.
If I had realized at that moment why you were smiling,
I would have surely turned back and things would have taken a different turn.
When I reached the bar, you were already there,
Sitting all alone and not drinking anything, I offered you a sip of my drink
You said no thanks, I don't want to drink anything, I came here to hide from the scorching sun
And I said okay, turned around, and drank my drink.
If I had realized at that moment why you were smiling,
I would have surely turned back and things would have taken a different turn.
Suddenly, it got really hot at the bar,
I saw some people jumping and got inspired
I flew through the air like a bird, a great jump.
And you were laughing in the shade like a little child,
And that gave me the motivation for a few more spins
And I didn't know what to do with myself, I was ecstatic.
If I had realized at that moment why you were smiling,
I would have surely turned back and things would have taken a different turn.
