It Could Be Today

For the church it was just another normal service
For the sisters who were going to pray, it was just another prayer
And for the young people who rehearsed to sing in the group
It was another praise in which they would feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit
For the pastor it was just another sermon
For the children it was once again, at school they were going to learn their lesson
And for the preacher who was invited to preach
And for the singer who was invited to sing

It was once again, it was just another praise, it was another day of worship
But up there something was happening, the sky was moving
For in God's order, that worship would not end

Today could be your last worship, worship
Today could be the last time you sing in the choir
Today may be your last prayer, so pray
Today may be your last sermon, so preach with your soul
It could be today, so cry, worship, cry out, exalt, jump and shout
It could be today, sing, preach, pray, speak in mystery and prophesy

It could be today, get up, run in search of lost souls
Today may be the last day that the church here on earth is gathered together
Today no one can stop me, because I will praise
As I have never sung, I want to sing every praise
Get out of the way, obstacles and barriers, because I'm going to love it
And God will send more anointing for my life

It was once again, it was just another praise, it was another day of worship
But up there something was happening, the sky was moving
For in God's order, that worship would not end

It could be today, it could be today the rapture
It could be today, cry out, exalt, jump and shout
It could be today, sing, preach, pray and celebrate
It could be today, praise
It could be today
