The Reason for Balance
Real 70
Two, three, water
I know there are those who get paid to sweep the street
To pick someone up when they faint
To help someone with a disability, with their barriers
And to clean up the crime scene, from your mess
To fix what you tried on and doesn’t fit
To clear a block from the road
To clean the bathroom where you left
The aftermath of a bender
You don’t see anyone as human when you pull the chain
Respecting another citizen’s sidewalk
Knowing that a disabled person isn’t just someone in a chair
It’s anyone who gets lost in their own system
Capitalism is pretty, but it makes you wait
It fills you with excesses that don’t even satisfy
You get two kisses that don’t count as one
How thin your heart is, the more
You eat consumption

If I didn’t believe in the scale
In the reason for balance
If I didn’t believe in the scale
In the reason
I don’t see you, I don’t talk to you, I don’t feel you
Ideological diversionism keeps growing
We’re functioning without any logical order
We’re animals, the earth is our zoo
I don’t know my neighbors, because they live anonymously
Like a proper noun, I’m their synonym
Capitalist habit of a citizen
Selling their soul and ignoring their brothers
The more profit you have, the more you regress
You get used to looking down on others
Above man, but you can’t buy love
Like a purse, with all your savings

Ah ehhh
If I didn’t believe in the scale
In the reason for balance
If I didn’t believe in the scale
