Eu Não Quero Mais Ser Igual
Daniel Berg
I Don't Want to Be the Same Anymore
What are your goods and your dwelling worth
What are your treasures and your companions worth
What is the value of amassing so much gold and silver
And feeling an emptiness inside the house at night
What is the value of a thousand loves
What is the value of a thousand words
What is the value of so many parties
What is the value of the nightlife
What is the value of all these things
It's worth nothing
To have a smile on your face and a torn soul
What is the value of having a whole world and a lost soul
What is the value of the car of the year and losing life
What is the value of status, these things are few
I am born of dust and dust dirties good clothes
What is the value of the most beautiful voice, without dignity
What is the value of making you cry without truth
What is the value of having the whole world and the world being mine
What is the value of loving everything and everyone
And not loving God?
I don't want to be the same anymore
I don't want to be like this anymore
I don't want to fill myself with the world anymore
And not have your spirit in me
