La Quiero a Morir
Daniel Betancourt
I love her to death
I, who until yesterday was just a lazy man
And today I am the guardian of her love dreams
I want her to death
You can destroy everything you see
Because with a breath she recreates it
As if nothing
As if nothing
I want her to death
She erases the hours from every clock
And teaches me to paint transparent pain, with her smile
And I build a tower from the sky to here
And she sews me some wings and helps me climb in a hurry, in a hurry
I want her to death
She knows every war well
Every wound, every being
She knows every war of life and love too
She draws me a landscape and makes me live it
In a forest of pencils she takes over me
I want her to death
And she traps me in a loop that never tightens
Like a thread of wax that I can't let go
I want to let go, I want to let go
I want her to death
When I climb into her eyes, I find myself in the sea
Two mirrors of water, trapped in glass
I want her to death
I can only sit, I can only chat
I can only get tangled, I can only accept
To be only hers
I want her to death
She knows every war well, every wound, every being
She knows every war
In life and love too
I want her to death...
