La Serena
Daniel Drexler
The Serene
A gentle sea breeze
Calls me from the serene
January is about to open
The procession of surprises
The sunsets call me
Through a hydrangea maze
And in the tall pine's top
The wind breeze awaits me
Oh heart, life is already waking up
We must light the fire and let
The pieces come together
Oh heart, the strings are starting to tremble
I swear I lived the whole year waiting for it to happen again
A gentle sea breeze
Calls me from the serene
And on the ninth of January
Will be the day the party bursts
Fascination calls me
To see the stars twinkle
On lips of sea air
The music always sounds more beautiful
Oh heart, the wine already stains the table
Feeling the wood crackle
Is much more than a certainty
Oh heart, the strings are starting to tremble
I swear I lived the whole year waiting for it to happen again
