La travesia de tu ausencia
Daniel F
The journey of your absence
I was a brave guy
and now I fear being alone all of November
and I cling to the things we did frantically
mercilessly
I was a very brave guy
and now I face your absence and it seems to be my last drink
and ghosts come out that cross in the middle of the lake
I'm somewhat insane
I shake off the wind and observe attentively
and I crawl to the feet of some leaves that want to play
I want to be that wizard, diviner, a loaf with a goblin soul
I want to be a seer and continue to be your confidant
in that lonely and serpent-like street
I crawl at a mud pace
between the paths that cut the prayers of the last saint
of the last gestures of the magician before bewitching us
and embracing us and not thinking about separating
And we used to walk together
Like a breeze that rocks the first charm of Autumn
I survive the force of time like a coelacanth
ichthyologically, paleontologically
I shake off the fate that runs like spring water
I am the last one to speak of worlds that swim absent
I want to be that bewitching blue, a loaf with a goblin soul
I want to be a seer and continue to be the one who touches your forehead
an aged one against the current
I was a sensible guy
and I expected to collect from this earth that last pact
Venturing to that shore of yours that now wants to be alone
Strangely today you are very silent
And you seem asleep
in spaces that hold nests from the auras
And I fear waking you up and you become absent again
The journey of brushing against this madness
The spell never broke, that old spell is contagious
I no longer worried about finding that moment of magic
I reaffirm the ancient promise
That you and I signed among the flames
I want to be that cat that still curls up in your bed
And now I find open reasons
to always be aware and alert
To be a seer and continue to be the one who meows at your door
I communicate through your essence
through that slightly open crack
that wants to dance dance...
And they already surround the house
And I don't want to leave you alone here in this uncertain hour
And finally they enter and see us dining by the light of some candles
and talking about the world... and the other world.
