O Milagre do Batismo

A certain farmer, full of money, irreverent atheist
Insanely criticized those who believed in the existence of God
But he had a farmhand, an honest man, servant of the Lord
The farmer would repress, he would say, God is my protector

One day that humble brother went to the boss and started asking
Let my church perform a baptism here next month
There was a pond, with clean and good water, a unique place
The boss agreed, but he planned to do evil there

Like a treacherous animal, that farmer committed the cowardice
The next month arrived and three days were missing for the baptism
With the cattle locked in the pen, only eating salt, without water to drink
On the horns of these cows, I want to see this whole church die

The cattle rushed down and stopped at the designated place
And as if tamed, that herd kneeled down
The church gave glory seeing God's victory
The repentant farmer fell to his knees and converted

God forgave his sins, he was baptized praising God
With the baptism finished, the cattle drank water calmly
Today that farmer is a messenger who preaches
That God wins any battle and made a church in that place
Today there is a church in that place
