Carpenter Preacher
In the beginning he was just a boy
Working with your father
He was just a carpenter who nailed
About salvation and peace
He walked by the Sea of Galilee
With your loving way of speaking
But that carpenter preacher
It started to bother me
His hands healed the blind and the lame
And healed hearts
Many poor people were well fed
By multiplications
The needy came to his feet
Waiting for a miracle to succeed
And with that the enemies rose up
And they came to hurt him
Suddenly the carpenter appears
Carrying a cross along the way
He was no longer a carpenter
It was just a lamb so alone
On Calvary he climbed slowly
Spilling hot blood on the floor
With bleeding feet and hands
He was announcing salvation
Jesus died like a lamb
He rose again as a lion
He was a simple carpenter
Being the author of creation
He is now a warrior of the universe
And there's fire in his hands
His name is sovereign
Over sky, land and sea
He has authority, he enters anywhere
