Dove sei

Where Are You
I remember the couch you had
had the same color as the one you just bought
a bit worn out actually
but if you think about it, you remember that when you sat
it seemed like it wanted to hold you forever in its embrace
I remember you had a smile
that maybe was strange, okay
and not even too precise
but it gave your face something unique and delicate
that not even the tenacious force of time would have taken away
That's not how problems are solved
if it were all here it would be too easy, don't you think?
I understand you but the thing that scares
is that today, without flaws, your face seems dull... dull
Tell me where you are, among all these people
tell me where you are, where nothing can be seen
tell me where you are...
I remember you had a dress
with many colors mixed in a slightly daring way
but it took your breath away
to see you coming down the street in the evening
I remember someone said 'here comes spring'
Who knows why now you don't sit anymore
who knows why now you don't smile anymore
who knows why, why...
Tell me where you are (you're not here anymore)
among all these people (you're not here anymore)
tell me where you are (you're not here anymore)
where nothing can be seen (you're not here anymore)
Tell me where you are...
