The Value of Salvation
I've been thinking and I'm moved
How much is salvation worth?
It's the best gift, the gift from heaven
That the Lord brought us
It's not easy to hold on tight
To the hand of God
Evil and strong enemies arise
Trying to take away, trying to steal
Our salvation
No one can take it away, no-no-no
This lovely gift that my savior gave me
And even if they try, they can't, God promised to take care of me
Every day of my life, until the end of time
Because this salvation I have here
Has brought me such a joyful joy that makes me cry
But not from sadness but from joy
Knowing that my soul is very safe in God
Now I understand why there's so much opposition
For the saved today
The road becomes tough, strength runs out
Pain arrives soon
But Jesus appears
In the difficult moment to give us courage
And what seemed like defeat turns into victory
With the help of Christ
Mighty in battle, our savior
No one can take it away, no-no-no
This lovely gift that my savior gave me
