When Will I Start Living
7 AM, another day start
To the chores and sweep very well
I polish and wax, wash and shine
I'm done, what time is it? seven and sixteen
I will read a book, or maybe two or three
Or in my gallery I will paint something
I play guitar, I knit, I bake, I don't know anymore
When will I start living
Puzzles, darts and making cookies
Paper mache, ballet and some chess
Pottery, ventriloquism and candles
Stretch, draw, or climb, or sew
I will reread the books, if the time has to pass
And I'll paint something else, I'll find a place
And my hair to brush and brush
But in the end, I always come back here
I wonder, I wonder, I wonder
When will I start living
The lights that I want to contemplate
Every year on my birthday they are
Where they are? There I want to go
Maybe today my mother will allow me to go out
