Dos Corazones Y Una Historia

Two Hearts and a Story
In the midst of a thousand words,
Misunderstood and angry,
One speaks, the other listens,
With sadness in their eyes.
And the only one to blame
Is the heartbreak that arrives,
After one discovers
That the other won’t commit.
The one who leaves packs
Their things in a suitcase,
In the living room, the other wipes
A sneaky tear away.
And the wounded heart
Starts to beat hard
Because one doesn’t want
The other to find happiness.
Far away from each other,
They’re lives left behind.
The guy doesn’t care
If his clothes are wrinkled,
And the woman in crisis
Often cries,
Longing for that love
That was lost
And that she misses.
Then the reunion
Calls for the guy to be more careful.
He showers, shaves,
Dresses well and puts on cologne,
Then he calls his buddy,
Who gave him so much advice
And swears... Never again
Will I stray far from my love.
And the woman hugs
Her mother and thanks her.
She wears her best dress
That drives her man wild
And spends the whole day
Thinking of the surprise,
A candlelit dinner
With love on the side.
Close together,
Life is different.
Loneliness makes way
For the love that was absent.
Destiny doesn’t take long,
And there’s no doubt now
That passion is stronger
When there are...
Two hearts and a story.
