Heavenly Father, I am grateful
For your eternal presence
I am learning to have patience
And that you are truly here

Sometimes I am afraid
And I know it's due to lack of faith
But I am starting to understand
That you have a plan for me

Heavenly Father, I am grateful
For sending your son
To die so that I could live
And because you never give up

I learn every day
That I won't always have my way
But I am starting to understand
That you have a plan for me

Heavenly Father, I am grateful
Because you hear my prayer
I am learning to have patience
And that you are truly here

All the answers I receive
Are not always immediate
Sometimes I have a feeling and it's
There when I kneel in prayer

You show me that you hear my prayer
It amazes me because I matter to you

Because you hear
