Luna
David Bisbal
Moon
Today the moon is sad and lonely;
Hidden in the night.
Whispers under her breath her sorrow,
She never knew the life-giving sun;
Only the shadow,
Dark and feared by her.
I saw her so powerful,
Beautiful and enchanting moon;
With her soft light she amazes,
All those who love and dream.
Every morning the dawn light
Dominates my thoughts,
And the moon knows nothing;
And the moon knows nothing.
Every morning the dawn light
That gives us hope every day,
Announces a new beginning,
And thus we can keep on living.
Every night I look out to see her, and she
Offers me her mantle,
Of fiery silver and stars.
She never knew the life-giving sun;
Only the shadow,
Dark and feared by her.
I saw her so powerful,
Beautiful and enchanting moon;
With her soft light she amazes,
All those who love and dream.
Every morning the dawn light
Dominates my thoughts,
And the moon knows nothing;
And the moon knows nothing.
Every morning the dawn light
That gives us hope every day,
Announces a new beginning,
And thus we can keep on living.
Every morning the dawn light
That gives us hope every day;
Announces a new beginning,
And thus we can keep on living.
