Tu Recuerdo En Un Cigarrillo
David Chumaña
Your Memory In A Cigarette
I try to understand what's happening to me
When you lose your gaze in a corner and without knowing
I want to describe a thousand songs to you with a thousand dreams
To be a draftsman and capture you on paper
Like a silent sun that doesn't speak with words
But leaves its color in your hair
With your clear eyes and that smile between your lips
That slowly conquered my heart
And I light a cigarette and your memory comes to find me
I'm a poet who writes to you at night and without knowing
And is content with knowing that you exist, woman
I try to sing in your ear as you pass by and your hair
Parading falls on your skin
With your clear eyes and that smile between your lips
That slowly conquered my heart
And I light a cigarette and your memory comes to find me
I'm a poet who writes to you at night and without knowing
And is content with knowing that you exist, woman
