San Francisco y el Lobo
David Lebon
San Francisco and the Wolf
Good night,
The wolf began to speak.
I am here for the last time you will see.
In the forest, I used to spend my days
wild and cruel, safe in my solitude.
Your voice made me see,
your light kept me away from evil.
The children smiled when they looked at me
and love made me cry.
But one day the evil man
began to treat me
they opened wounds that will never close.
Father,
I will return to be fierce,
my claw will be deadly
I will return to inspire fear
and fear will be my home.
The forest will hear
howls of a storm.
I will return to be fierce,
like a lightning in the darkness.
