Bomba Nuclear
David Rees
Nuclear Bomb
I have the strange feeling of failing my instincts
I'm getting clumsier, tripping over my thoughts
Dancing in the clouds with you, behind a secret disguise
Of silences we keep along with everything
Everything we don't say
And we're not so different
Three drinks too many, lost drunks
Everything makes more sense
Tick-tock, minutes are too many in the conversation
Tick-tock, not enough to gather courage
Behind your gaze, hides a nuclear bomb
And triggers the war of universal silence
Turning all your emotions into gunpowder
About to explode or run out of gas
I'm dying to strip your words naked, clothes can wait
Bite my tongue and avoid it once again, afraid of getting lost in the shallow
We're not transparent glass, we swim among masks
And the storm is coming, and look at us, weak, in the eye of the hurricane
And there are terrible winds (tick-tock) and truths flying (tick-tock)
Out of reach (tick-tock) of our hands (tick-tock)
Behind your gaze hides a nuclear bomb
And triggers the war of universal silence
Turning all your emotions into gunpowder
About to explode or run out
Our bodies so close, but mentally toxic
We're two flickering lights in a dark optical effect
Two children who still can't speak, strangers kissing in a bar
Expired feelings, two ghosts holding hands
Behind your gaze hides a nuclear bomb
And triggers the war of universal silence
Turning all your emotions into gunpowder
About to explode and make us fly
About to burst, or run out of gas
