A Luz Que Acende o Olhar
Deborah Blando
The Light That Lights Up the Gaze
The light that lights up the gaze
Comes from the stars in my heart
Comes from a force that made me this way
Comes from words, memories
And flowers watered within me
Time can change
The rain washes away what has passed
Only what I have lived remains
Only what I still am remains
The light that lights up the gaze
Comes from the corners of imagination
Comes from paths I have never walked
As if life knew about dreams
That I never dreamt
It comes from the infinite, from the shooting star
From the mirror of the soul
From our children
From somewhere
Just to illuminate
The strength comes from where I come from
From everything that lights up and life silently
Looks at me, and understands what I am
Everything that is greater
Comes from love, comes from love
The light that lights up the gaze
Comes from romances that turn into poetry
Comes when it wants, if it wants, if it comes
Comes to light up and show the love
That we didn't see
Comes like a pure magic spell
As if I saw and swore
That I had known you for a long time
It comes from the infinite, from the shooting star
From the mirror of the soul
From our children
From somewhere
Just to illuminate
The strength comes from where I come from
From everything that lights up and life silently
Looks at me and understands what I am
Everything that is greater
Comes from the light that lights up the gaze
Comes from the stories that put me to sleep
Comes from what we can't see
Comes and calms me, brings me and takes me
Closer to you
And takes me even closer to you
