The Sower
In chapter 16 of Saint Mark
Verse 15 caught my attention
Jesus sending go to all the world
To announce The Great Salvation
Whoever believes and is baptized
Will have justification in Christ
If they do not believe, they will be condemned
Because of the hardness of their heart
Jesus sent. I go through the villages
Through the cities, everywhere
The open Bible speaking of Christ
The preacher cannot remain silent
Let's sow the holy seed
Obey Jesus' command
If some fall by the wayside
The birds come to eat
And others fall among thorns
In rocky ground they will not sprout
But falling on good soil
Will bear much fruit and God will bless
It's chapter 13 of Matthew
Jesus teaches us, let's listen
This parable of the seed
Whoever plants in the earth
Will reap in Glory
You plant then comes the rain
And the seed begins to sprout
And when the time of harvest comes
God sends an Angel to reap
Gather the wheat in the barn
And the weeds are to be burned
Jesus spoke many are called
But very few will be saved
The saved one must be obedient
And have their life in sanctification
Produce fruits a hundred and sixty
Or thirtyfold, but in prayer
