In persecutions the faithful believer never falters
Fasting and praying, crying out to his Lord, he stands firm
The waves of anguish seem higher than his faith
With strength from above, he continues fighting, facing the tide
They may persecute the people of God, but they will always overcome
Nothing in this world will separate us from the love of God
All Christians in all times have been persecuted
Prisons and beatings, deaths in the fire were not overcome
And even today, faithful believers are persecuted
They are clothed with the Holy Spirit, they will have victory
