God is telling you to go
Like the prophet Jonah, you want to run
God tells you to speak
But your comfort makes you back down
God tells you to deliver the message
Yet you try to hide in the cave
You forget about many prophets
Who wouldn’t bow down, not even to Jezebel
Or the gods of Egypt
Don’t think it’s just you
God enters the pit
God walks through the fire
God parts the Red Sea
God uses a kid to take down giants
When there are no warriors
God uses the donkey
Speaks to the prophet
When there’s no man for God to use
If the Lord commands
And you don’t want to go
The donkey will speak
God is telling you to go
And which Elisha wants to say goodbye
God tells you to speak
And just like Moses, you say you can’t
God commands you to fight
And like Gideon, you want to refuse
I’m too poor
There are richer folks
Send someone else in my place
God calls the brave
The mighty man
A warrior of faith and altar
