Pesadilla en Elm Street

Nightmare on Elm Street
John Fitzgerald Kennedy was strolling
like an idiot down Elm Street.
He didn't know that was the day
Freddy was working and passed by there.
(...) he was Freddy Krugger,
Lee Harvey Oswald didn't shoot.
Jacky Onassis said they were bullets
and not the blades that killed him.
Bullets aren't so bad
and for four bucks
you get a bunch.
How was Onassis that when hitting him in the face
he was singing and another rooster crowed.
Nightmare on Elm Street.
A few years before Freddy was killing
all the kids on Elm Street.
The boogeyman wasn't a bad guy,
he was a funny and gentle killer.
And it was the parents and they messed up:
they burned Freddy with a lot of gasoline.
Everyone thought Freddy was dead
and they lived peacefully just until today.
They can't even nap,
they drink coffee and amphetamine sandwiches,
they burn their feet with cigarettes
advertised on TV.
Nightmare on Elm Street.
One, two, sing out loud;
three, four, the boogeyman;
five, six, say what you see;
seven, eight, eat a cupcake;
nine, ten, where's Fred?
His tongue comes out of the phone,
his face comes out of the wall,
look at his claws, his huge arms,
his dirty red and green sweater.
The hat covers half of his face
that looks like a Neapolitan pizza.
Krugger lives in the nightmares
of all the kids on Elm Street.
