Have mercy on me, O God
According to your unfailing love, have mercy
Wash away all my iniquity
And cleanse me from my sin

For I know my transgressions
Against you, against you only, have I sinned
I have done what is evil in your sight, Lord forgive me
I repent and turn back to you today

You desire truth in the inward parts
Teach me wisdom in my secret heart
