Llovizna
Fernando Delgadillo
Drizzle
There in the sea that washes the distant coasts
Where your lonely boat will have to land
Time will come and its long veil of forgetfulness
That calms all pains and still... you will remember
Sometimes you have to stand in the rain,
But of all it is to start again
It's just about continuing
Says a man who
Lives where it never stops raining.
The skin burns searching in all your caresses
The fiery outbursts of his skin
And the twinkling stars saw coldly
The narrow wake of the boat in which he left.
Sometimes you think you forget him and you encourage yourself
Some other times you can't resist
The truth is that pain surrounded you with its thorns
And you just didn't smile again
You will remember other stars, other skies
Even other more pleasant nights you will remember
And among the constant coming and going of memories
The tide is pushing you where you go
Where will you go to escape from yourself
What white sand will heal your heart?
I only know about darkness and drizzles
Then after all, the sun always shines
That's how to love, my dear, without hope
That's why the soul only gives itself once
Then life betrays our trust
And one does not return to what one once was
And let the sweet melodious flow of your tears
Sigh and wind that stir the heart
Because crying mends the breaks
And salt heals the wounds that illusion has suffered
That's why the sea is the refuge of the sad
For the blue sky doesn't fit in my song
This song that only wants to be drizzle
That spills happily refreshing your pain
You will remember other stars, other skies
Even other more pleasant nights you will remember
And among the constant coming and going of memories
The tide is pushing you where you go
Where will you go to escape from yourself
What white sand will heal your heart?
I only know about darkness and drizzles
Then after all, the sun always shines
