Nimbus

I come after the seashore
Where the whimsical clouds of the wind
Resemble fantastic frigates
Sailing the blue sky

I carry a disorder of breeze in my hair
And a first moonbeam on my skin
The waves washing the edge of the world
Must have seen me well

The clean air of a May wind
Brought me here gathering my horses
Strolling calmly until a whistle called them to run

And here you see me with my loving tune
And my airs as a messenger of fortunes
Bringing a gift of pending rains every dawn

Fulfilling a fortunate existence
Early tasks of tying and untying
But soon I noticed in the men's neglect
And I learned to cry

This is how today I herd clouds
Guiding them towards the interior of the sleeping continent
Which I bathe with white herds
From the sea breeze

Rows of clouds
Sky horses
Cloud herds
Hummmm

January winds and September breezes
Of cheerful dreams of timeless stories
I am the spirit that is awakening
The fruit tree

March waters and October surprises
I want to be the cloak that cleans and covers
The stone with moss, the ivy wall
And the lemon of chance

But some winter has blown in my notes
And the water of my drops is so needed
That I fear they may not be enough
For such thirst

I tend to the fields but so many cry out
That I never finish giving to the broken
Neither remedy nor the means lacking
To attract the rain

If you see my countenance cloudy
And I avoid encounters with my fellow
It's not lack of love, just excess of zeal
Don't look at my face

On days like this I compose myself at dusk
When the open infinity of my arms
Seem to be able to encompass in a moment
What I can see
