The world changes so much
From one day to the next
That it's barely possible to imagine
That there will be a moment where
One can approach it
To travel with it wherever it goes.

Leaving this daydream
To their respective
I review what remains for me
The paths of development
Don't cross through here
The only struggle
Is to survive
They educate you to live resisting
And every day they take something else away
In doubts and guerrillas
And the century that is leaving
Mexico decides to wait.

How much has been missing these days
A captain, a hero, a sign,
And I see nothing but strange clues
Of dreams that get lost in the sea
They are dreams that get lost in the sea.

There is little idea of the extent
That the word corruption covers,
From bribing the official
And police, protection of thugs
And favor.
Almost any crime can be fixed
Or finds a solution with money.

Under corruption there is no place
For homeland, love, or truth.
If everything has a price
Where is the ideal?
That they guided me to believe and respect
I inhabit a place alien to their values
Where being young is the first evil,
It fades with time
If you find a place
Where you let everything stay the same.

Our children will come later
It's the excuse among others that you give yourself
To grow and create a place
Better than the one we currently inhabit
They are dreams that get lost in the sea.

One can talk at length
About the damage of that pollution
That dirties the environment
And the media
To Mexico, its leaders
And even its revolution.

There is so much to change and no one starts
Many are afraid to begin
They feel like someone is waiting
For them to step out of line
To be able to take their place
Leading nowhere.
We are the link to our ancestors
And we are about to bid farewell to the millennium
Children of a culture
That left and left us here
To light the way for the future.

Evolution for our lives
We must grow on the fly and remember
That others can keep their lies
And open our eyes where the truth
