Ele Vive

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God
Yet the Word became flesh and dwelt among His own
He came to this world to give us life
Like a silent lamb, He suffered to love me
He endured and faced the cross, the guilty one was me
And still, He loved me
He gave Himself for me on that cross
But on the third day, my Jesus rose again

He lives, the cross couldn't hold Him

The way, the righteousness, the author of life
The first, the king of kings
Exalted, adored, enthroned
He is Lord forever, holy, magnified
He is the Messiah, bread of life, our salvation
The cornerstone, the author of redemption
Faithful God, on earth and in heaven, He lives, He is the God of Israel

The cross couldn't hold Jesus
On the third day, a sound was heard in hell
The lion of the tribe of Judah took the key of death
In His hands
And He rose, He is alive
He walks among us today, He is alive, He lives
