Born in the suburb on the best days
With family vows of a happy life
Walking and riding a steel bird
Dreaming at the end of the day to relieve my tiredness
With the most beautiful uniforms of my country
The father with a ring on his finger and a finger on the guitar
Smiled and truly seemed to be happy
Oh, good life
How long has it been
What happiness!
And the desire to play the guitar for real
And to write songs like the ones my father wrote
One day in sadness, I missed the old man
And I confess that even today I miss him
I hugged the ball and thought that one day
I would be a soccer star when I became a young man
One day I kicked poorly and hurt my toe
And without the old man to take away the fear
It was another desire that was left behind
Oh, wasted life
Goes with time
And I, without malice
In the innocence of a child of such a young age
I got mad at God for taking my father
And so growing up, I raised myself alone
Learning on the street, at school, and at home
One day I became the big shot of the corner
In every game, in fights, in dating
Until one day I had to quit studying
And work on the street to support everything
Without realizing it, I was already an adult
Oh, life flies
Goes with time
Oh, but how I miss
But I know that up in heaven, the old man is proud
And proud that his son is just like his father
For they kissed my mouth and I became a poet
But so accustomed to adversity
I fear that one day the verse will hurt me
And my biggest fear is the mirror breaking
