La Métamorphose de Mister Chat
Dionysos
The Metamorphosis of Mister Cat
Yesterday, I talked to a witch
We discussed football and poetry, yesterday
Then I told her that I would like her to teach me
To snatch her mini-mini-mini-mini behind
So she turned me into a cat just like that
Small striped redhead with broken teeth, like a alley cat
Since then I walk on the roofs
I shout:
'It's me, it's me'
You don't recognize me, no!
Even my friends shout at me:
'Shut up cat, shut up cat, shut up cat'
With its little flowering trees,
I felt like climbing into her arms, there
-You should have started with that,
You should have been wary of me,
You should have stopped scrutinizing the hazelnut
That serves as my mouth
Here you are with a cat face,
Balancing on the roofs
With the moon as a bedside lamp,
And no one to let you in.
It's hard to be a cat in this damn town!
And I can fly through the trees
And you can see my eyes through the night
Like car lights
And I look at my bed through the windows
I recognize the pillow and I dream about your
Little head sleeping on.
It's hard to be a cat in this damn town!
So hard to be a cat in this damn town!
So hard to be a cat in this damn town!
It's hard to be a cat in this damn town!
