Pasqualino Maragià
A certain Pasqualino fisherman
lived in absolute poverty;
but he always felt deep in his heart
something that said 'one day it will come'!
And one day arrived in Sorrento
an Indian princess
on a big ship:
the beautiful Kali.
Pasqualino looked at her
and Kali fell in love
and took him to India...
Pasqualino Maraja,
riding on an elephant,
with a big turban on his head,
he goes through the jungle.
Pasqualino Maraja
doesn't work and does nothing:
among the mysteries of the East
he acts like a nabob among the Hindus. Ulla ulla ulla la
hundred crates of big diamonds
while powerful princes
bow before him,
he smokes the hookah eh! eh! eh! eh! eh! eh!
Pasqualino Maraja
has taught how to make pizza
everyone in India goes crazy
only wants to eat pizza.
Pasqualino Maraja
has learned to act like an Indian
but, as a good Neapolitan,
calls everyone:
'Hey, paisan!' Ulla ulla ulla la. ulla la la la.
'Hey, paisan!' Ulla ulla ulla la. ulla la la la.
